“Nothing ventured, nothing gained” is a phrase that undeniably describes the pursuits and passions of the multi-talented, ambitious, and self-proclaimed risk taker, Miss Delisa Woods.  Although Delisa continues to successfully dedicate herself as a dynamic school counselor, she is by no means a novice photographer.  In fact, Delisa has spent the past two decades developing her love of photography into a legacy of pristine brilliance. 

Beginning as a pre-teen in a junior high school, Delisa’s bulbs continually flashed on her family, who were her first delighted subjects.  Then it was on to high school and college, where as a member of her high school’s yearbook committee and later Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., she was able to capture the rich histories of her alma mater, as well as her highly respected sorority.

      Being the eldest in a family of four siblings, Delisa is more than equipped as a leader, role model, and guide.  Utilizing her extensive training as a school counselor, she has an uncanny knack for placing her photography clients at ease.  Delisa has acquired devoted clientele, over the past few years, through several networking avenues.  Overwhelming word-of-mouth testimonials about her solid and stunning work have brought noteworthy praise, as well as business opportunities her way.

Always the picture of humility and grace, Delisa uses photography to service many of her professional and community endeavors.  Thus far, her varied range, as a professional photographer, has encompassed everything from once-in-a-lifetime wedding portraits, unforgettable models’ and actors’ head shot portfolios to momentous special event photography, for various high-profile venues.
